Our commitment
At MSA Consulting Services LLP, quality means giving our clients compliance assurance they can rely on. Our advice, content and systems must be accurate, current, practical and delivered on time. The regulatory environment keeps changing, and our clients operate across many jurisdictions. We therefore treat quality as a discipline built into every engagement, not a final check.
Scope
This policy applies to all of our services, in every country where we work:
- Compliance Framework: identifying the laws that apply to a client, building compliance checklists, setting up monitoring and reporting, and defining internal controls.
- Compliance Audit and Assessment: assessing a client's current compliance status, reviewing its existing frameworks and tools, conducting risk assessments, and reviewing its statutory policies.
- Compliance Updates and Alerts: periodic legal updates, summaries of law changes, stakeholder awareness sessions, and support in reflecting those changes in the client's business, policies and processes.
- Compliance Managed Services: seconding subject matter experts, preparing compliance documentation, supporting execution on the ground, and supporting compliance project management.
- Compliance Tool (ReguCheck): compliance process automation, identifying and mapping compliances, deploying the platform, and training users.
Our quality principles
- Accuracy and currency: Every legal requirement, checklist and update we provide is researched from authoritative sources. It is reviewed by qualified professionals and kept current as the law changes.
- Consistent methodology: We follow documented methods for framework design, assessments, heat mapping and content drafting. This ensures a consistent standard across clients, industries and countries.
- Multi-level review: Every deliverable is reviewed by someone other than its author before release. Legal content, audit findings and client reports are signed off at partner level.
- Competent people: We recruit legally qualified professionals and train them rigorously in legal analysis and compliance drafting. Our training is ongoing, so our team keeps pace with regulatory developments in India and overseas.
- Timeliness: We agree timelines and service levels at the start of each engagement. We monitor progress against them and alert clients early if a regulatory change or other risk could affect delivery.
- Technology with control: We deploy ReguCheck and other tools under defined configuration, testing and change-control practices. Automated outputs are always validated by people.
- Confidentiality and integrity: We protect client information through appropriate access controls and confidentiality obligations. We act ethically and independently in how we win and deliver work, and we disclose any conflicts of interest.
- Client focus: Our recommendations are practical and proportionate to each client's size, sector and risk profile. We seek client feedback at key stages of every engagement.
Continual improvement
We set quality objectives each year and track them. They cover areas such as the accuracy of our content, on-time delivery, client satisfaction and training hours. Internal reviews, client feedback and lessons learned from engagements feed back into our methods, templates and training. We act promptly to correct any error or complaint and address its root cause.
Responsibility
The Partners are accountable for this policy and provide the resources needed to put it into practice. Every member of the MSA team is responsible for applying it in their work. We communicate this policy to all staff, make it available to clients and other stakeholders, and review it at least once a year.
